Okay, after a couple days of doing Fitday, it looks like I need to try to fit some more protein into my diet. I'm averaging a 60%/20%/20% split on Carbs/Protein/Fat.
So, I need some good lean protein idea - preferably not meat. I've got egg whites and some beans in there, but I feel like I'm overlooking some relatively obvious choices ......

low fat cottage cheese w/ canned fruit (oranges or pineapple) 14 g for 1/2 cup of cottage cheese only.
protein mix from trader joe's (9 g) with frozen fruit, juice for a smoothie.
3 egg whites (10.8 g)
6 Trader joe's meatless meatballs (16 g)

You can add egg whites to a lot of things too - like oatmeal or make protein pancakes with oatmeal, egg whites, and cottage cheese.
I have a hard time eating enough protein also... I've been trying to make protein pancakes for breakfast. My other hard item is eating enough vegetables... fruit, whole grains, and healthy fat I've got down.
