Seriously - this is one of the most researched and well-documented news articles I've ever read in print. The facts found in it are shocking and heart-wrenching, at least to me.
I'd post the whole thing on here but it's super long so it would be too big. But basically it's a long list of the really bad things that happened in Ohio in the 2004 presidential election. I'm all about things coming out in the wash but it seems that almost all (if not all) the fraud benefitted only one candidate.
I'm struggling with some things pointed out in the article. The article points out that the kind of errors in exit polling vs. actual outcome are the exact errors that generally indicate mass fraud in an election and in other countries (most recently the Ukraine) necessitate recounts and sometimes new elections.
What happens when the hall monitor needs monitoring? How is it possible to a) keep this from happening again and b) making sure people's actions are accounted for?
I'm very upset about this whole situation. It goes to the very core of our Democratic system. If we have no faith in the voting system, don't we essentially have no faith in our country?
I have been following the research on this story for quite a while, again I am amazed at what this country tolerates and looks the other way on. How many impeachable offenses must there be?
Oh, that's right...the system of checks and balances has been removed too.
thanks for posting this great article. i never had any doubt that the 04 election was fraudulent, but to see the facts laid out like this and the sheer number of them are frightening. there's no way to defend this. now that all of this info is out there, i wish this story would get more press... but it shows how much power is being held over the media.
