I think Feist is playing in Vancouver some weekend in July. You should road trip. Also, I never watch videos, but I stumbled upon some of hers last night and I loved them. http://www.arts-crafts.ca/feist/
I'm going to sound really old, but so what..... end of June I'm going to see Pearl Jam & Tom Petty In July, Farrah and I are going to see Bon Jovi with Nickelback. A couple of days before that we're seeing Journey & Def Leppard, woo!
Plan to see: Tony Bennett at Ravinia where we can pack our own picnic. Also, I live in a suburb of Chicago, and REO speedwagon, Sister Hazel and Better than Ezra will be performing at our local ribfest this 4th of July weekend. Since it's super cheap and a five minute drive I'll probably be there.
Just so you don't think I am completely out of the loop, I did just see Rob Thomas, James Blunt, Anna Nalick, & Coldplay in the past couple of months :)

We would have so much fun at concerts together! Love your picks.

i swear to all that is holy in this world, Ribfest's have the best music playing at them. i got to see joan jett play at one about five years ago and it was awesome. life couldn't get much more perfect than sucking on a barbecue dripping rib while listening to reospeedwagon.

Metric - have you seen System of a Down before? I saw them about 4 or 5 years ago with Slipknot, Mudvayne, and Ramstein. SOAD was my favorite! I really want to see them if they come near here this year.
Honey - a friend of mine has tried to see Voxtrot three times now and each time something flakey happened that cause the band to not play...once the lead singer was too drunk or something...another time he was stuck at the airport or missed his flight or something. I think he has totally given up on them. Have you had better luck?
As for me, I recently got to see TOOL in a very small venue and it was amazing. I have seen them in larger arenas, but this was great.
As for what I want to see...I would like to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers when they tour this new album. I also wish Bright Eyes would come close to here again...he's doing some Canada dates and Nebraska and Tennessee, but that is too far for me. I'd love to see Clap Your Hands, Say Yeah too. We don't get many indie bands here...I'll have to check out what is coming to Dallas this summer.
I'd love to see Madonna too...but probably won't happen.
