Seeing as there was NO warning in the title of this post about what it was actually about, I was pretty surprised when I opened it. I may be alone here, but I feel like this "poll" is just TMI and inappropriate -- especially for a forum with style as its main focus. It kind of reminds me of that post that highheels started a few months ago....

Ok, this is getting a little out of hand.  I have to agree w/christine - this is TMI for me.  I don't think this is kind of thing is appropriate for a fashion forum..sorry.

I was thinking the same things as Christine here. But I didnt post yesterday for fear that I would be "the prude" who didn't think this was appropriate to talk about...

Also, wanted to add.

*I wasn't offended at all.. It is just not a topic I am comfortable reading about or participating in.

I just wanted to weigh in on this.  Personally, when I first read this post I was thinking it may be crossing the line of tastefulness, but I understand taste is subjective, and some people are very open about talking about sex.  As a result, I considered it free speech, just as I consider any other revealing/controversial post or swearing free speech, and that it wasn't "wrong" per se. That's why I didn't say anything, I just chose not to participate.  My only concern is the who-knows-what-kind-of-creep that is potentially lurking, and that we may be providing fodder for their interests...

Allowing freedom of speech works in our society as we know that the "cream" of what is spoken rises to the top and is valued.  I view the forum the same way - those posts that rise to the top are those posts that hold the most value in conversation/thought/ideas (most of the time .)  It's not up to me or anyone else to judge the subjective - it will work its self out in the "society" of our forum.

No one did anything wrong here, and I don't want anyone thinking they can't be themselves and be open (I want you to be!) Just take into consideration the potential audience that may be reading
