"Sullivan's Justice" by Nancy Taylor Rosenburg 

i just finished it last night.  it is a great book.  i was so into it i could hardly put it down.  it is a murder mystery, and almost has a silence of the lambs feel to it, but not to the point that you would think they totaly bit the plot from silence of the lambs.  i highly recomend it.  and it is not super long, so you don't have to have a great deal of reading time everyday to have any hope of getting through it.
