It totally depends on what for. Famous for being a great doctor/lawyer/politician? sign me up! Famous for being a notorious cereal killer? yeah, I'll pass. And not a major celebrity, but maybe like B list or something would be fun...

yeah, but not for the fame as the motive, but the lifestyle of a typical multi-millionaire Hollywood celebrity would be nice to have.  I love art and acting, but not enough to do it for nickles, and it only pays if you make it really big....except for character actors, who do earn a pretty nice living too and don't have as much fame.  But for those who make it big, I would think it would be worth it.  Plus, I am pretty behaved, so I wouldn't worry too much about papparazzi, I would be more concerned about security and stalkers.

I'd want to be famous in my own profession, but not celebrity famous.  To be respected (and well-compensated) for the work I've done would be really nice, but I wouldn't want to be like Lindsay Lohan famous.

Only to show the ones now what is wrong w/them..haha! I'd rather just be loaded! That would be better. Not out in the spotlight...but rich as hell. Then I could help others:)
