Favorite Lost characters?

I'm sure we've done this before, but I just got into the show in the past month or so (I watched all the first season DVDs in three days). So...who do you love and who do you hate?

My favorites are Sayyid (cause he's smart and rational), Ana Lucia (even though she did the wrong thing a lot, I loved how she took charge and did the right thing a lot), Locke (because he gets the island), and Jack (I know he's annoying but I'm so attracted to him).

My least favorites are Hurley (he is so so so stupid I can't stand to hear him talk), Kate (I think Evangeline can't act and I just don't buy the character), and Claire and Charlie (they're both crazy and irrational).

Sawyer! He's a freaking riot. The 20 or so nicknames he spews out per show are enough for me to love him. And he's hot.


I also like Jack. I know most people think he's an ass, but I love him. I'm kind of attracted to assholes, so that might explain it. But anyway, I like Kate, too. I didn't at first, but she's grown on me. And I pretty much like all the other characters except...


Ana Lucia! I couldn't stand her and I'm so glad they killed her off! YAY! She was so annoying, even her facial expressions bugged me. I wasn't really a Shannon fan, either, so I don't miss her too much.

Oh, man, I love them all!


Here's the shortest list I could give:


-Sun- I like her overall demeanor and disposition.  She seems very sweet.


-Sawyer- so funny and hot as hell.  Plus I think down at heart, he's very loyal/caring toward children and I like that because you wouldn't think he'd be like that.


-Jack- besides saving everyone on the island, I think he's basically a good guy and he's not bad looking either .


-Kate- I know she does dumb/criminal things a lot, but she always has the best of intentions and she's been a good friend to Sun and Claire, and to some extent, Sawyer.


-Eko- I think he's one of the most interesting characters on the show.  I love his background--the whole drug dealer gone priest thing really intrigues me.  Plus, he has the best lines ("People are saved in different ways" really got me).


I like Sayid just because he's a badass and smart as a whip.


I think Hurley is hilarious.


Not a big fan of: Locke (he annoys me), Charlie (annoys me too, doesn't really do anything), or Claire (loved Maternity Leave but not a big fan of her character in general).

Favorites: Locke, Eko, Sayid, Bernard/Rose, and Sawyer.  I'm still mad at him for squishing that frog a few eps ago, but he's nice to look at and comes up with great nicknames. 


Least favorites: Kate (she's just not that interesting, I wish they'd do more with her) and Ana Lucia, though AL was starting to grow on me.


When I first started watching Lost, I couldn't stand Jin because I thought he was a domineering jerk, but once they did his flashbacks, he really grew on me and now I really like him.

My favorite favorite is Sayid.  I just love him cuz he's so badass.  I also like Jack and Locke, but mostly I really like the way those two characters play off each other.  Sawyer is pretty easy to look at, but he just makes me so frustrated!
