I have light brown hair, could be considered dark blonde, but it's on the brown side. It's affected by the sun enough that I can see a difference at the end of the summer. It lightens a little on certain areas. If I wanted to "help" along the slight lightening, just how effective is lemon? I have lemon juice and I've heard that if you apply it and sit in the sun, you'll see a difference. I don't want to destroy my hair...I'm just curious as to how much it will change it, if at all. Thanks

Oh no! Please don't do this!
Go to a colorist and get it professionally done. It took me years to get healthy hair again after I used Sun-in and lemon juice as a teenager.
