This is awesome. Right when I graduated from college I bought a couple of really beautiful coach bags. Unfortunately, this was literally weeks before I realized that no one carried longer shoulder strap bags. So, I can't throw them away - but I also can't wear them.
Generally when I go on a Loehmann's tear, I end up with one awesome item (like a DVF) and two sort of so-so items that seemed cool, but I just didn't end up wearing. It's always just enough money for me to be annoyed that I spent it.
I am the QUEEN of making purchases that haunt me. I desperately need to learn how to purchase fewer, more quality items. I always regret everything I've bought from Club Monaco-- I'm always seduced by their sale section and nothing ever fits me correctly. Once I broke down and bought a skirt and a pair of jeans from there-- and BOTH had defective zippers. I should just stay away from the store and its voodoo effect on me.
I also regret a pair of dark brown BCBG stiletto boots I bought-- not because they're ugly because they're not-- they are SO hot. But because when I wear them, my baby toes come perilously close to amputation. So yeah, they are not so comfortable. And they were kind of $$$.

my green kate spade organizer but I will never admit this to anyone. I wanted it so badly when I got it and used it religiously for the first 4 months of owning it but I have yet to use it since. I got busy and started using my smaller spring/summer bags and have no room for it so it has been thrown into a corner in my room. I hate that I spent $300 on it instead of a kate spade bag. I'll just have to make myself start using it again because it is really nice.
