I don't have a recipe and just kind of eyeball the amounts, but everyone always loves this one:
pasta peas shredded carrots brocolli florets (or whatever pther veggie you like) cubed cheddar cheese olive oil red wine vinigar orgegano, basil, crushed red pepper, ans what else looks good to me salt and pepper
I make pasta salad alot... i use tri colored rotini after cooking it I mix it with Italian dressing, dry Italian dressing mix (in the spice isle) and parmesan cheese...I also thrw in some fresh broccoli and califlower I mix it throughly and refridgerate
Tri-color Rottini Itailian Dressing Pepporoni cut into small pieces Black olives sliced (you can leave these out but my family loves them) A small amont of sliced banana peppers
whenever i think of pasta salad i think of the way itsapinkthing posted. you must include black olives, parm, and peppers (i do red peppers). when i ate meat, i would do pepperoni too.

A few more, pasta salad is a summertime favorite at my house:
TEX MEX 2 cups your favorite cooked pasta 1 can corn drainied 1 can black beans drainied diced red and green peppers 1/2 cup mayo 1 pkg taco seasoning mix
Mix, chill and serve - I mix in crushed tortilla or corn chips just before serving
Tomato & Cucumber 2 cups of your favorite cooked pasta - I like cheese stuffed tortillini with this one 1 pkg 1/2'd grape tomatoes 1 small diced red onion 1 cucumber chopped your favorite vinigrette dressing
