I'm stealing Elle's phrase b/c this warrants it!


I got my own apartment!!! No crazy roommates, no idiot boyfriends. My. Own. Place. ALL MINE!! Mine, mine, mine!!! Mine!!


It's a one-bedroom, semi-loft style with a private entrance with a little front stoop and a private patio off the side (which is big enough for an entire 'outdoor room'). It's also in a decent little town (not nearly as great as my old town, for which I am still homesick every single day), but it's still cute with little shops and restaurants and I'll be able to walk around. The only downside is I can't have any pets, but at least I can visit my mom and her dog and D and his dog.


And it's also cheap enough that I'll still be able to save to buy a house! YAY!!! I'm so excited!

I move in June. And of course, it's going to be a pink and brown palace (at least the first floor will be)!!! I have been waiting to decorate in pink and brown for about 6 years now and it's finally time!! YAY!!!!


I think in the bedroom, though, I'm going to to lavender and seafoam/aqua with white. I'm going for an 'innocent-sexy beachy' look, if you can imagine that.


As for the outdoor room, I'm thinking turquoise and apple green, 'cuz that's just fun!


It's going to take a while to get everything deocorated, though. I'll post pics as I progress.

Yay! You are going to LOVE this. I never had apt. roommates (after college dorm life, I never wanted roommates again) and always enjoyed having my own space. I'm thrilled for you!

Congrats!  One of the best things about living alone is not having to share the bathroom!    (If hubby and I ever buy a house, we are so getting separate sinks).
