last night i went to trader joes and found two amazing new items. pinjur and spinach feta pizza (not a strong feta taste, it was sooo good).
so for breakfast today (i couldn't wait to try it) i made:
green beans, pinjur, and laughing cow cheese (i think i recipe i saw suggested goat cheese), warmed in a pan. it was sooo easy and sooo freaking good.
i'll have to try pinjur with pitas too. and it's pretty healthy (15 cal. for 1 Tbs.).

it's a roasted red pepper spread (with eggplant and garlic). it's got a bit of a spice to it. it's common in bulgaria and macedonia. it's sooo good. it definitely helps me eat my veggies, and since i normally cook my veggies in a bit of oil or butter, it makes them a lot healthier. it's good with goat cheese and pita bread too.
i bought it at trader joe's but since it's a common spread in eastern european countries, it might be available in the ethnic food aisles of your grocery store.

right now i'm hooked on yogurt (I've never had it in all of my 24.5 years until last week) and luna bars (I know not stuff to cook with but its a food obsession)
Goat cheese and mixed greens Soups - all kinds, all year long Stella Artois - not food, but filling Berries And the pepper and egg sandwich I had two weeks ago at a little breakfast place in my neighborhood. I need to go back.
2.Grilling sandwiches on the Foreman... my favorite are
-Boar's Head Roasted Turkey Breast, wedge of Laughing Cow Lite, and green bell pepper in a whole wheat pita and
-Boar's Head Virginia Ham & Baby Swiss with grainy mustard on whole grain bread that I spray with Olive Oil Pam
3. Homemade Bean Burritos. This so random because I normally like burritos loaded with meat and other toppings but these are so good... canned refined beans heated in a sauce pan combined with taco sauce and Mexican blend cheese. Then I put the mixture in a tortilla, and add more cheese, taco sauce and sour cream.
I forgot about that one. I've been making an Italian margarita lately so I can have it when I cook Italian foods. Make regular lime margarita as usual and then add a shot or 2 of amaretto to the frozen drink in the glass. Yummy!!!
