I went to the doctor today because I have been waves of dizziness (or similar to dizziness, but my vision isn't really blurred) come over me every couple of minutes. It just lasts for a few seconds and happens every few minutes. I am also really, really nausated (spelling??). I figured they would tell me I had an inner ear infection and send me on my way. Well, the doctor checked me over and then said she had no idea what was wrong and did an ekg and some blood work. Now, I am nervous. Even though I probably shouldn't be because it most likely isn't anything but me being wierd.
A little background on me: I am hypoglycemic and this feels similar only I don't go completely black and pass out like I do with that. Also, eating doesn't make this any better so they don't think that it is my hypoglycemia acting up.
Anyone ever had that happen? Just tell me I am being crazy and everything will be okay.

That's super weird because I've been experiencing pretty much the same thing. I'm thinking maybe mine is from allergies and nasal congestion, etc. Let me know what your dr says.

The doctor seemed to think that as well, until she checked and saw I was having no allergy problems.

Hmmm, that is weird. I hope everything checks out ok. Maybe your head is still spinning from all the excitement of buying your new car, hehe
LOL! your funny FP!
but seriously HeatherLynn, i hope its nothing serious, im sure its not. i was actually feeling like that all day Sunday too, but i woke up fine the next day.
That happened to me once and the doctor just said it was vertigo and gave me some antivert meds. They totally didn't help but I'd been in the sun the whole day before, had a sunburn, and hadn't drinken an ounce of water. So I was dehydrated. I started drinking some gatorade and I was better really quickly.
This still happens to me every once in awhile. It happens when I take any cold medicine (makes me dehydrated I guess) and when I haven't drank enough water. It's my sign to start hydrating as soon as possible. And sometimes I've been drinking my 6 glasses of water daily and for some reason it just isn't enough.
Hope it's something lame like not enough water. When do you find out the results of all the tests?

That's what they thought, but said that my blood pressure was great.
I'm not sure when I find out. Within a week at the latest. They asked a lot about diabetes. I'm just hoping they tell me I am crazy. =)
