We want to do a 4 night trip to an all-inclusive resort somewhere in the Caribbean, but I have no idea where to start. First of all, I need to pick WHERE we go. Any suggestions? What island? We're looking for a relaxing, romantic time on a beautiful beach, not necessarily a non-stop party. Any help?
Anguilla, which is off the coast of St. Martin is beautiful and super relaxing. There isn't much to do but go to the different beaches around the island, but you can take the ferry over to St. Martin to shop, etc. Barbados is also really nice (I might be biased since my dad is from there).
Abaco in the Bahamas. It's not a huge party scene at all (we went during spring break and we only saw a few college kids) but it's so relaxing, beautiful, and the food is delicious. There's tons to do because you can go to an island a day if you have a boat. The people are super friendly and the crime rate is pretty low (people don't lock their doors or anything). It's not anything like the Bahamas they take you on cruises (not that there's anything wrong with that, just doesn't seem what you're looking for); it's relaxed and laid back and a good time for all.

Thanks for the recs. They all so beautiful. Unfortunately, no Caribbean for us on this vacation. It's just too far. We're in Phoenix and would have long travel times, so we're probably doing a quick non-stop to Mexico. Hubby is against Mexico, but I don't want to spend my vacation in the airport!
Well if you guys reconsider my hubby and went to Nassau for our Honeymoon and stayed at the Sandals Royal Bahamian (sp?) which I highly recommend. This place is awesome.
