Ditto.  My sister and I are within 2 years apart as well and it's great.  We're not so close that we get annoyed with each other or compete, but close enough that we are good friends and have an instant person to hang out with.  Congrats!

And I'm another one with a sibling very close in age - my sister and I are just 15 months apart and I think my parents liked that we could do the same activities, share clothes, etc.

Thanks again for the encouragement, girls!  It's great to hear from some of you loved having another sibling close in age--it makes me feel better b/c I'll admit I'm still freaking out a bit, and it doesn't help that I'll be 5 months along during our move to Egypt, and now I have to figure out where to have the baby, etc., but that's another post.


Laken--it's not too personal (for me anyway, I don't care).  Actually we weren't trying and this baby was a complete surprise--or shock really. I would have spaced them out a little more, but not much b/c I'm already in my 30s.


Ayo--I thought you might be down with the shopping idea.  I'll pm you later!
