my husband is finally letting me get another kitten! I have one cat now and I want to get a buddy for him. I don't know what it was that changed his mind but he finally caved!!!!!!! I'm so excited! I'm picking her up in 4 weeks because she's still so tiny. My cat now is named Petey, I'd like to stick to the "P" theme. Any ideas for names?

OMG - I can't wait to see it! You know she's a she? You have to posts lots of pixs so I can live vicariously through you. Since now all my kitties are fixed & I know we won't have babies & we are at our animal limit. Sigh.

You know what's funny? Petunia came to mind for me too! It must be a sister thing! I know I can't believe R let is actually letting me get one after months of nagging. Our brother is getting one too wildflower930! At least they can visit.

Awww...you got your DH coming up with names! Thanks! I'm not positive it's going to be a she because the person that is taking care of the litter right now said they are too little to tell the sex, but we want a girl if there is one. After this kitten I'm not allowed anymore animals. I just hope my current cat deals with it okay.

i think it would be cute to call a cat "penguin". my son watches a cartoon and the little boy in it has a hamster named "elephant", love it!

I really like the names you guys came up with! I told DH he could name her since he "let" me get a new kitty. We're still not sure if we're going to be able to get a girl because we don't know the sex of them yet. However, DH has picked names out for both. It's going to Pauly (after Pauly Walnuts - Sopranos) if it's a boy and Paula (female version of Pauly) if it's a girl. Thanks for all of your suggestions and well wishes! I'll be sure to post pictures once we get her home!
