if you could chose your celebrity parents, who would they be?  i was inspired reading about katie holmes and tom cruise having their baby, and wishing that baby could have chosen it's parents so it could have gotten out of having tom cruise for a dad.


i would chose ryan philipe and reese witherspoon.  they are so cute and they seem like they would be the really good parents.

I'll take Paul Newman and his wife.  They're so awesome because they are community and earth friendly.  They know the true meaning of being altruistic and are great philanthropists.

I'd go with Robert Redford as my celebrity dad. His ex-wife isn't famous and I don't know her name, but I guess that would make her my celebrity mom. I admire his committment to independent film, the outdoors, and art, and he seems like he's very respectful to people. My parents were actually at a party he was at with his family, and they said he just looked very happy to be with them and like he's just a great dad/grandpa.

I think Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward are great choices! He went to the same college as me and I always wish I could run into him and be like "hey, which dorm did you live in?"

I would choose Bill Gates and his wife (I don't remember her name). First of all, more money than you could possibly ever use, so you wouldn't necessarily feel like you had to have all the latest things since everyone knows you could if you wanted to. Secondly, you never ever see their kids in the spotlight, and that's what I would want. Third, the charity work that family does is amazing, and I'd really like the opportunities being in the family could give me. I'm sure Bill Gates is connected to people in nearly every field, so if there was something I wanted to do, I probably could.

I think maybe Bill and Camille Cosby. I saw Camille and her children at the dentists office when I was a kid (they have a house in the same town where I went to highschool) and thinking she was just so sophisticated and poised. And I love Bill!

Audrey Hepburn and Mel Ferrer, she was a goddess and a style maven and he came from a brillant family...what a gene pool!


If it were more current maybe Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick, they seem fun.
