the last few times i've gone to the gym, it's been too hot. i usually get pretty hot after an hour, but lately i can barely breathe after 15 minutes. i know i'm wearing the best clothes for working out and i try to go on machines by the door and by overhead fans. the problem is, the management isn't the best (like they don't care how many complaints there are about not having towels....there are still never any towels). my gym is in a location that's pretty isolated from other gyms, so it's pretty crowded, i know that plays into things, but it's getting unbearable. also, from looking around i know i'm not the only one that's having a hard time with the heat. i don't know what to do. if i complain about it, i'm pretty sure they're not going to do anything about. do you think this is grounds to get out of my contract? should i hope that they will turn on the a.c. soon? agggghhhhhh. i'm so frustrated.

I'd complain - if they don't do anything I'd ask for them to let you of your contract. Maybe try calling their corporate office?
Yup. Complain first. If that doesn't work, ask to speak to the manager to complain. Unfortunately, I think most gym contracts are really hard to get out of, and I doubt they'd let you just because it's too hot. They're probably just trying to cut costs by keeping the AC off as much as possible, and unfortunately they're not going to lose business because of it since everyone is probably on a contract. Sucks. So, I'd keep complaining and if it doesn't get resolved, see if you can get out of your contract.
