...to graduate school! It's not Ivy League or anything -- not even the best college in my state. But it's the only one available to me at the moment, and I was a little nervous because I had some mix-ups with my letters of recommendation. But yay! I got a letter directly from the dept. head, which felt nice and personal. I am excited.

Thanks guys! relrel: it's an MA in English, and yes, I will go part time. I wanted to start this summer, but because of my trip, I will have to start in the fall.

yay!  congratulations!  i've actually been wondering about your application and was gonna ask you if you were able to get that final rec sorted out and what's been happening.  so happy for you!
