Googling 'diamonds' yields some pretty good results, too.

butthead and i have been dating for a while now, and when he was acting like a jerk, i'd call him butthead on this forum, and it stuck.

but he is a good egg.  :)

Are you looking for a wedding band for him or you?

If him, how about a platinum band from Tiffany's?  That's where I got DH's.  Even though people may argue it's a lot of $$, I felt like he should have something special too, since he did a good job blinging me out with my rings.

FWIW, I'd seriously consider white gold instead of platinum.  Platinum is pretty soft and dents pretty easily, which is more noticeable on guys rings.  We decided to go with white gold ourselves once the lady at the ring place showed us her 3 year old badly dinged anniversary ring.

also another thought about white gold vs. platinum for guys...

platinum is pretty darn heavy and with the amount of metal that is in most men's rings (since they're generally bigger, wider and thicker than women's), they can get pretty heavy and bulky-feeling.  my husband actually preferred the feeling of the white gold on his hand once he tried them both on.  not that it's gonna like weigh his hand down, but it just feels more obstrusive knocking against your knuckles, etc.

also worth a mention, again, because of the sheer weight of metal in men's rings, my hubby's ring in platinum would have cost about 175% more than *my* wedding ring, which has 8 small-but-decent-sized diamonds in it, and is platinum.  yikes!  i mean, i felt like he deserved something nice too, but it just didn't really seem worth it.  and other than the weight, he didn't really care or notice the difference.

I've heard multiple arguments for/against both white gold and platinum.  I was worried about messing up my e ring and his band (both are really thick platinum) but they look great after 5 glorious years of marriage.  I may get mine polished in a few years if it needs it.

I got my DH a titanium ring - for whatever reason he thought it was cool. We got it here & they did a great job engraving a pretty lengthy quote inside it. Just thought I'd mention another option. It ended up being about $300 so it's not like it was "cheap" - IMO for a man's ring. Though obviously I have no idea what price range you are looking at.
