I'm going to the Languedoc region of France in September and staying in a town called Uzes for a week.  Here's a where the town is:

Has anyone been in this area of France? Hubby and I want to go to a different town for a few days after we're done in Uzes.  Besides the closest city, Montpellier, can anyone recommend a good place to go in France that's not more than a few hours' drive?
