anyone tried this yet. i bought some the day before yesterday but haven't been able to use it yet. i have a huge zit on my chin and when it popped it left a scab so i can't wear any makeup until it goes away. but the texture feels nice and the lightest color looks like it would be perfect for me. i hate the brush that came with it. it is tooooo rough for my skin. it feels like it scratches me, so i will just use my baby-buki brush from bare minerals. if anyone else has tried it, could they post a review? tia!
I'm curious also. And for those of you that have tried it, does it work to conceal the same way Bare Minerals does? Generally speaking, BM is too heavy for me but the concealer aspect was awesome! I'd definitely use the Physicians formula version on problem areas if it works the same way...
I have it. I've been using it for about half a year now and am pretty satisfied with it. I have sensitive acne prone skin and it hasn't made me break out. I don't use the brush that came with it. Like Tashina said, it is too rough. I just use my Sonia Kashuk powder brush instead. As far as concealment, it is too light and sheer to cover up discolorations or blemishes. You'd need to use a separate concealer underneath. It does even out skin tone though. It looks very natural and I feel like my skin can actually "breathe" when I have it on. I have it in transluscent, which goes well with my light-medium Asian skin.
I haven't tried the physicians formula yet but I did buy the Neutrogena mineral sheers and hated it. It provided no coverage unlike my bare escentuals. Just a heads up on that version of mineral makeup.
ok, i have had a chance to try out my mineral wear and it is very sheer. it is light and doesn't feel heavy, which i like. but i do have rosey cheeks and it doesn't help much with that. i definately think i like my bare minerals better.
i also tried the neutragena mineral makeup and hated it. it was too yellow to start with and it is inside that little bottle that you have to use their brush, and their brush sucks really badly. and i didn't feel like it went on evely. some spots were heavier than others.
I'm glad to hear the Neutrogena reviews. I use bare escentuals and was thinking I should give it a try just because it's cheaper. Sounds like I'll stick with the bare minerals
