I have straight hair and when I try to curl my hair it's a pain in the butt. My curls do not last at all. They fall down after a hour and it's really annoying. I finally found something that makes my curls stay!! *drum roll please* The CHI!! (yes, the straightner) I curled my hair Saturday and I when I woke up Sunday morning they still looked good.
So you girls with straight hair I highly recommend the CHI. I just wanted to share my joy with you girls.
i LOVED curling my hair with my flat iron when it was long.
claudia- i'm gonna explain how i do it but please post yours as well! i want to hear how someone else does it.
it is kind of hard to explain but basically you grab a piece of your hair with the iron flat out and then turn the iron kind of like you are curling ribbon... pull your hair out and it should give you nice pretty waves.
i couldn't do this without using my Kenra thermal styling spray. my hair refuses to hold curl unless i put something in it to memory and lock the curl.

I've been wanting to do this with my Chi as well. Do you have to be concerned about burning your hair? Do you just curl it in the iron quickly?
how long is your hair? I wonder if mine is too short for this.
Also, do you think it would work with a cheaper straightener? My hair is naturally stick-straight, so I don't know about spending big $ on a straightener.

I have a cheaper one and it does fine with my hair wants to get a little flippy at the ends. I would love to try this to
