Who watched last night? I thought last night's episode was a lot better/more interesting than last weeks. And next week's looks really good! Anyone want to discuss?
Ohhh I loved it. I loved how all the fighting over who would be the New Boss if Tony died came about.
My favorite scene was when Tony was going into that party and Steve Buscemi was greeting him and urging him to go in and you could hear "little girl Meadow" yelling. "We love you daddy don't leave us" Fabulous!!

Me too! Was anyone else cringing, hoping he would turn around and go towards Meadow's voice?! I was like come on Tony - don't go in the house!
BTW - Paulie and Vito are such tools fighting over the money they had to give to Carmela. Oh and I was laughing my butt off when Paulie got kicked in the balls - I love how he says "balls".
I loved this week's episode, too! So dramatic... although after it was over, I wanted to punch both Christopher and Anthony Jr. right in the face. They are both so selfish and immature. I'm glad they brought Tony back... I was afraid they were going to go with the "dream sequence" for the entire season, which would have gotten all played out really quickly.
Also, Edie Falco did such a great job in the scene where she reacts to the news broadcast and yelling at Anthony Jr. I was totally absorbed! Wonderful, wonderful, all around... I can't wait for next week!
I didn't like this episode. I thought they were going to do more with Tony's self discovery, but he looks like he's back to his old self next week.
I liked the reunion scene, though. At first, I thought, "what a nice view of heaven...a family reunion" but it was so creepy that I am rethinking. I think it might have been purgatory/hell, especially because Tony B was there, and I think the woman in the doorway was Tony's mom.
Did Silvio always have asthma? I can't remember.
Oh, and Paulie is my favorite ever. He has the best quotes.

Ooh, good point, halley... I figured the "family reunion" was heaven, although I was sure it was Tony's mom in the door, too, which would lead one to believe that it was really hell (since she created a living hell for Tony her entire life).
Also, remember when Carmella told Tony in his coma that she would be judged for telling Tony before his MRI that he was going to hell? Made the whole dream sequence/purgatory scene that much creepier.
ok, well i know that i speculated before that philly leotardo would take out christopher, but after the conversation he had with tony, i am thinking maybe tony has to have him clipped because he decides he wants to branch away from the "family business" and starts screwing up really badly, or tony snubs his ideas for the movie and pisses him off so badly that the fbi agent gets the opportunity to flip him and tony finds out. i really liked this episode though. out of all three episodes, i felt like this one gave the most foreshadowing on who would not be making it to the season finale. i don't think vito will make it. i think he has gotten the idea in his head that he should be boss and he might start thinking of acting on it.
i liked that tony is back to his old self in the next episode. i was hoping he wouldn't start getting all emotional and remorseful for his past and his job. he wouldn't be tony soprano otherwise.
on another note though, even with tony being in a coma and all helpless this episode, i am still finding him unbelievably attractive. i have been having erotic dreams about him lately. ever since i started catching up on the episodes waiting for the new season to start. does anybody remember when tony tried to convince dr. melfi to date him and she was backed up against the desk and he tried to kiss her and she pushed him away? OMG that got my blood going. i was sitting there thinking good grief woman that is tony soprano. do him on your desk.

Oh, this is too funny! I had a roommate who felt the same way--you wouldn't have thought at all if you knew her but she had such a crush on Tony.

LOL! I always think, "How does he GET so many good-looking women?"

Haha! I have a friend who said the same thing. She's like "There's nothing physically attractive about him, but the power he has makes him attractive."

i don't know if any of you have ever had one of those talks with your SO about your list of celebritie's that you would leave each other for, just for fun. well my hubby and i did a few months ago and when i mentioned james gandolfini, he got so offended. ke said "that guy is a tub, what the heck, i am way better looking!!!" i just kind of giggled, so a couple of weeks later we saw the episode i mentioned again, and after that pert, he looked over at me and goes, "oh, i get it now."
What was that line Carmilla said in the episode with Tony in a coma. She said something to the effect of "You're a bull. I always loved how you could throw me over your shoulder. It always got me hot." She said something like that. Anyway, I thought that was kind of *meow*.
the woman in the doorway at the house scene was most likely supposed to be tony's mother, but that actress died in real life, so it wasn't *actually* her (which is probably why they just showed her back).
i'm so happy to hear that others have a thing for JG. he has been my #1 crush (which all of my friends and my husband just *do not* get) since i saw him in true romance back in the day. he just plays a "thug with a heart" so well - i have no idea how to explain my attraction to him, but it's definitely there. there have been dreams involving him for me as well - so weird!
