Has anyone else seen this? It's Tori Spelling making fun of her self in the trailer for her new show. It's hysterical. Actually make me want to watch it.
This almost seems like a desperate move to bring up her celebrity status (maybe she is tired of making Lifetime channel movies?) I would never make a tv show of my life and poke fun at my family unrespectably. I heard on tv last night, her parents are not talking to her. But I cannot believe she said her mom has TWO gift wrapping rooms. That is ridiculous, but not something to share with the whole world. I will not be watching.
I wasn't the slightest bit interested in that show until I saw that ad. Who knows what the show will really be like, but that ad is pretty funny. I especially like that they talk about her implants since on 90210 it was like, oh hello, Donna's got new boobs, but it like you weren't supposed to notice.
I think it's funny that there's something on the show derived from her mom's "eBay room" (which is what i heard)...i mean, who doesn't have stuff like that? plus many comedians find the humor in their own lives and families...Mike Myers' Coffee Talk started as an impression of his mother-in-law...and it was hilarious. (his MIL thought so too, I hear)
I saw the promos on TV the other day and it looks pretty funny. You gotta love it when a celeb can poke fun at themselves (plus I'll always have a soft spot for anyone that was on 90210!). I'm going to give her show a try.
Yup....that was my much needed laugh for the morning! I especially liked the "Go play in the nice snow Nanny is making for you"....like every child's wintertime dream come true!
it was a pretty clever trailer, but I didn't see any genuine comedic talent in it -- she isn't writing the show, is she? She wants so badly to be famous again...I feel bad for her.
