so this is a shot in the dark, but does anyone here adhere to a gluten free diet? one of my friends has celiacs and i always cook a lot for her...kind of my challenge to myself to see what i can come up with.
however, i haven't done a lot of gluten free baking with flour substitutes (tend to just use recipes w/o flour, flourless choc cake, fruit desserts and the like). her birthday is coming up and i wanted to make a good, standard birthday cake with lots of frosting and thought i might check here if anyone has any recipe recs...
yeah, i have some of the ingredients that recipes tend to use to sub for flour...i guess i was just looking to see if anyone had any recipes that they had tested already! i am just so wary to use random recipes off the internet b/c there's no way to tell if they're any good. :)
