My sister teaches kindergarten, and they have these word associations like "A is for Alligator, etc." B is supposed to be for "bananas" -- as soon as she said it, her class of 5-year-olds yelled back "B-A-N-A-N-A-S!" I have to say I can't hate on a song that encourages good spelling.
Haha that is too cute.
I have a friend whose daughter use to sing that freak-a-leak song by petey pablo. She was sooo embarrassed.

All of the above. The worst offenders are N Luv With a Stripper and Beep. I can't believe this stuff appeals to the masses and that people are getting rich off this shit.
Me too. Is society really that bad? As far as the kids picking up the songs...I have yet to figure out why there can't be a radio station that plays kid friendly radio. I mean surely there is music available that isn't bad for a kid to sing without being all barney/oldies/or christian?

My mom works for a school where most of the children are very below average for their age. She couldn't get over it though when one of the little ones was spelling PIMP. I had to fill her in on fifty cent and told her to be glad the little boy left off the MF part!!
