Let’s play a game! Okay, I will admit this is a stupid game!!! But I have a friend coming to visit me from Spain in two weeks and all she wants to do is shop. So I want to take her to a few of my local, good malls but while I was typing up an email to describe some of the stores I would come to a blank with most of them.


 


So the question is, how would you categorize/describe the following stores?

  • American Eagle

  • Wet Seal
  • Banana Republic
  • J Crew
  • BCBG
  • Club Monaco
  • Old Navy
  • Bebe

Hmm...well most of the stores have websites, if she is handy enough to look at them...otherwise here is what comes to mind


junior/casual: american eagle, abercrombie, hollister


junior/trendy: wetseal, charlotte russe, forever21, rampage


preppy/classic: jcrew


sophisticated/classic/somewhat trendy: BR, Club Monaco


trendy: Express, Bebe, Guess


higher-priced trendy/sophisticated: BCBG, DKNY, MaxStudio


girly/colorful/fun: anthropologie, urban outfitters


discount: gap, old navy, target
