shopchicago33's purchase of last year's Michael Kors shoes that i have, Hedvig's post (http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=44784&subForumID=102212), and a recent shopping trip with my sister made me realize that I am not liking many shoes this year. i mean there are a ton of heels that i like, but no shoes that are super wearable. i feel like i bought, and liked so many shoes last year, and this year i like all the ones that i bought last year more than any that are out this year (not a BAD thing because it's saving me $$). maybe i should hit all the outlets for last years shoes. i know that i can't even wear sandals here yet, but i am itching for some new shoes.
is anyone else feeling this way?

I am loving the platforms this year too, but they are not too comfy. I noticed that my closet is full of pumps, and I need to vary my collection. I only have like two pairs of flats that I can shop in, and I am going for lower heels this year and I am glad that there are so many cute options out.
I really like a lot of this season's shoes but it seems like everything I love is expensive ($400+!!!). So far I've only bought a pair of Kors espadrilles and the green Seychelles peep toes.

i agree. there's a lot of shoes that i love (i just bought two pair), but they aren't practical. i am not seeing as many cute wedges or wearable shoes this year. i love peeptoes and platforms, but they're not super comfortable.

I agree - this year's shoes just look uncomfortable. I haven't bought any spring/summer shoes yet because the thought of teetering around on a platform, dealing with a slingback that won't stay on or breaking in a pair of peep toes is very unappealing right now.
My only purchase has been a pair of ballet flats. I just need to get out there and try stuff on I guess.

i feel you. i hardly bought any sandals last summer and was looking forward to refreshing my collection this year, but so far nada. nothing really catches my eye.
