fh keeps asking me what i want for my birthday, and i would just like to go somewhere. preferably warm, and not too far of a flight from nyc, oh, and pretty inexpensive.  any recs.?

i would say miami.. but it definitely depends on the time of the month that you're going.  hmm.. what about the virgin islands.. i went to st. maarten in september and it was beautiful. i'm sure you can get a package on expedia. also, puerto rico is not that far -- i would definitely check www.go-today.com for last minute packages.
