I don't have one but one of my friends used to work for the co. that made them and he and I loved his. It was so much fun to play around with. I love that you can IM your friends (he used AIM, so maybe it's AOL sufficient?) while you're sitting in the dr.'s office waiting for your appointment. And they're not too pricey either. If I had some extra cash, I'd totally get one.

i would LOVE a sidekick but they are exclusive with TMobile and we don't have a contract with them. Instead, I am looking at a Verizon PDA/Cell phone that has a screen that slides up and the keyboard in underneath. similiar to the Sidekick and I can still check my email and surf the web, etc.

thanks ladies for the replies. i looked it up and you can get aol mail to come thru directly to your sidekick (no web-browsing invovled). i am interested in sidekick mostly because the data service is ALOT cheaper than with other companies. i won't use it for work (god knows i don't want to be reached 24/7) so i think it will be okay. my thumbs are twitching!!

i read somewhere that the sk3 will be coming in april. i might wait until then. i am so ready to say "smell you later" to verizon!
