My favorite is Pepperoncini Beef. I just brown a chuck roast in some olive oil, garlic, salt and pepper, put it in the crock pot and dump a jar of pepperoncini over it. Voila! It's soooo yummy! I usually reserve the juices (best part), slice up the beef and serve it topped with sauteed mushrooms and bell peppers. Then I put a slice of Provolone cheese on top and nuke each plate for 20 seconds. Top with some of the "gravy", and it is TO DIE FOR!!!
Cricket! I make Pepperoncini Beef also but in a different way. I throw in a 2 lb. chuck roast, one packet of Lipton onion soup, two cans of golden mushroon soup and a jar of peperoncini peppers including all the juice. I ususally pull the stems out of the peppers first. Cook on low in a crock pot until the meat is tender and pulls apart with a fork. You can put the beef on mashed potatos...Yummy!

Yummy! I do your recipe sometimes for pot roast (without the pepperoncini). I use about half a packet of the soup mix. Between the condensed soups and the dry packet, it's just too much salt! I guess I should add that I cook mine on low until it's done, too!
Funny- I just made my favorite yesterday! Mine is the shredded beef i make for my tacos and burritos. I buy tri- tip, or similar type of beef, cube it, add salsa, 1\3cup of water or beef broth, garlic powder, salt, pepper, cilantro, and minced onion. After cooking slow for 8 hrs the meat just falls apart when you fork it. Tastes just like the shredded beef you would get at an authentic mexican restaraunt!
I like to make soups in mine. You just throw in some lightly sauted garlic, onion, celery, potato, carrot, spinach, tomato (basically whatever vegetables you have). Then you add chicken broth or stock and a bay leaf. I like to add leftoever rice or chicken to mine too. After you turn the slow cooker on at high for 2-3 hours, your soup is done, and super delicious!
Oh, and enchilada casserole is pretty good and easy too. You just get cooked chicken (like a rotisserie chicken) and shred it. Mix this with enchilada sauce. Then, you just layer the chicken sauce mixture with torn up pieces of tortilla and cheddar or jack cheese. When you leave it to melt in the slow cooker on high for 1-3 hours, it tastes really good because the flavors have melted into each other. It's yummy!
mmmmmmmmmmm Iam getting hungry with all this food talk. I love cooking pinto beans but I throw in all kinds of goodies such as bacon, can tomtoes, onion, green chili's,garlic powder, salt, pepper, a few jalapenos than at the very last before its done I add some cilantro.Yeap I love spicy things
Anything involving sauerkraut! Then again, I'm German, so no big suprise there. A pork roast with sauerkraut...I add in a packet of lipton veggie soup mix and a can of chicken broth.
I've been wanting a crock pot but I am not allowed to have one since it's deemed a fire hazzard.
Let me guess, your boyfriend is also not a fan of crock pots? Maybe he can just heat his food on the moon's heat! Then he can invite the sasquatch over for dinner! Too funny!
I'll make stew in mine and also roast, carrots, and potatoes. I like roast in the crock pot better than in the oven. It stays juicy, plus the potatoes and carrots get the flavor of the meat. Yum! I'll make queso in the crock pot for parties so it will stay warm.
