STYLETHREAD -- LET'S TALK SHOP!

so i'm pretty much an indie rock sort of girl but i honestly love all sorts of music -

last night i saw dave chapelles "block party" and it was awesome!  basically he threw a party in the street with a bunch of great performers - mos' def, the fugees, kanye west, and more ... he did it in brooklyn and made it very accessible to all kinds of people - he went around inviting people on the street, people he saw every day (including this one really old white lady who owns a convenience store he frequents!  lol) he would just walk up to people on the street and give them a pass for hotel and bus to get there and tickets to the show -

it's sortof a documentary about a one day event - anyway, point is, i really like it, and if you appreciate hip-hop music, chances are you will too!
