I think we're going to use my v-day present (a voucher for the Ritz Carlton) to take a weekend trip to NYC. I haven't been since I was 13, and my husband has never been. We want to see all the usual touristy things. There are about 3 times in the next year that would be good for us. Do any of you NYC ladies (or frequenters) have opinions on the best time to go, weather and events-wise?
We're looking at either early June (weekend after Memorial Day), late September (around the 3rd weekend or so) or mid-March of 07. Any thoughts? Obviously it will also depend on flights, but right now they're about the same price for any of these dates.
Thanks in advance

Your choices all sound about right-- the winter can be cold and the summer can be really hot and humid, so June or September would be great. The weather is generally beautiful in September. Lots of people leave the city during the weekends in the summer though, so it may be less crowded in June (or at least there will be less residents here-- it could still be crowded in touristy areas, I'm not sure).
I wouldn't recommend March-- we usually get a few nice days but there are always a lot of very cold and/or snowy days still in March.
September is probably your safest bet. Unless there's an "Indian Summer," the weather should be a little more predictable than it would be in March or June. Sounds like it will be really fun!!!
