Don't want to be a downer with the first reply here, but I had a twin sister. We were identical and she was stillborn. My mom had a dicey pregnacy and my sister did not make it.

I'm a fraternal twin........we look NOTHING ALIKE.
She is about at least 60 lbs heabier than me.She has always struggled with her weight, I have had it easy up until about 3 years ago........now it's the battle of the bulge.
you can tell we are sisters but would never guess we are twins
here's a pic:
me on the left, mom in the middle, my sis Carla on the right
Me, me, me! My sister and I are identical, I am 11 minutes older. We look the same, except I am about 3/4 inch taller. I can't imagine not being one, it's much fun and we are best friends!

Me and my sister are also identical except for the fact that I've got about 20 lbs on her lol. I am taller though if that makes any difference :) We're also best friends and it was always so nice having someone there that you can really tell everything to and have absolute confidence that they'd never tell anyone else. I love being a twin! We do get a lot of strange looks when we go out together though lol.

You are all so pretty - your mom could easily be mistaken for your sister. Great pic!

thanx! If I showed my mom your message I'd have to pop her head with a pin.
I'm not a twin, and they don't run in my family, or my boyfriend's family...so imagine my surprise when I had twin boys!! They were born 3 months premature, and after some *accidents* at the hospital, my first born twin died after 51 days. He was 1 minute older, and I had them by c-section. My second twin is now 3 and so spunky!!! He's already well ahead of his normal age,and when we meet people, they would have never guessed that he was a preemie. They were identical, and sometimes its hard to look at him cause I often think,"I should have another just like him" but I am truley blessed.
And when we go to the cemetary,he knows exactly who we are there to see,and where to go.
Sometimes when he is playing,he says he is playing with his brother. When he was about a year old, he would sit infront of the mirror and play with his reflection.
I plan on telling him he was a twin, but I'm sure he already knows.
