Take 2 tums to regulate your skin's PH,it'll help with redness and swelling.And go a bit early,and ask if she will put some steamed/hot towels on first-It'll open up the pore and help it come out easier. Chances are,if you explain your fears to her,she'll be willing to work with you.I do waxing at the salon I work for,and did a guys entire back that way.He said it didnt hurt at all with all the prep work.good luck!

also, some salons sell satin smooth's spray with lidocaine. it's a topical anesthetic. i had a brazilian done with and without, and it definitely made a difference (without - it was pain personified...with - it hurt but more of a "wax" hurt than "i am dying" hurt). if you plan on getting waxed regularly, it's worth getting.
I am definitely going to get that spray. I heard sally hansen had something similar but I can never find it in the store. I have even considered chloraseptic, as an experiment, but now I dont need to. Thanks for saving me from myself.
