Things with the Dr. are at an end I'm afraid.  I think I've become some psycho girl talking to him - but we talked a few times today and he said basically that he's giving his relationship with his ex another try.  Ay.. very disappointing to me but I will get on.


 


Last night went to eat sushi with the "car" guy and I did have a really good time talking to him.  Very easy.  He's a bit shorter than I am used to (5'7") but I like his personality. I'm sure I'll see him again as he called to thank me about 10 min after we left and he mentioned a few places he'd want to take me during our dinner.


Going to see the "restaurant" guy right now.  He's pretty nice - I just need to put the "brakes" on him once in awhile.


Ay... singledom is a drag when i don't feel like going out...

Sorry about the Dr., Vivi... from your other post, though, it sounds like he's got issues.  Good thing you kept your options open long enough to find out!


Sounds like car guy is nice... he likes sushi, anyway, which is cool in my book.

I'm sorry about the Dr. He doesn't sound like a terrible guy, just maybe not the one for you. Look at it this way, at least it's over before too much serious damage was done, right? The first guy you have feelings for after a breakup is never the guy you end up with, so better to have that one done and out of the way so you can move on to the bigger and better things.

As for the car guy, I think he sounds cute. The boy I'm with now is shorter than I typically date (I'm taller than him in high heels!), and seriously, I almost wouldn't go out with him because of it. I was like, "eh, it's not worth the effort. He's only 5'8"." I was willing to dismiss because of that! Luckily he had some perserverance and we met up a few weeks later - randomly - and things progressed from there. And he likes sushi! How much better does that get??

I'm sorry about the Dr. but I'm happy about the car guy. Hopefully your ex will GET OUT OF YOUR HOUSE SOON!!!

Saturday ended up being pretty fun despit my reluctance to go out.


Restaurant guy really proved he was *Restaurant Guy".  Took me to the Viceroy hotel in Santa Monica, - so hip and swanky!  Ends up he was a chef and good friends with the Head Chef there.  Head Chef friend came to talk to us for awhile and sent out soo many extra dishes and treats - it was really one of the fanciest meals I've ever had!  Scallops & Caviar, Steak Tartar w/quali eggs, jumbo shrimp w/proscuitto, carrot risotto, wild striped sea bass, (him) pork ribs, a huge "Cheese array" for tasting with figs, apricots and wild nuts, and crepes w/ice cream and berries.  nevermind the endless wine.  it was the meaning of "wine and dine"! 


ended up going to another bar after and crashing at his place.  though i am sooo not ready to go there with him yet - i slept in my full outfit until 3:30am - woke up and went home.  now is that really silly of me or too casual to even crash in the first place?

Don't sweat it. Sounds like more of a "had too much to drink, can't drive home" situation than anything else. Don't make a habit of it, and I think you're good. Glad you had fun!
