Even though in my opinion last night was better than last week, it was still a little boring. I don't think they are exploring the right issues. They seem like they are just doing things to fill the time. For example, all the freakin eating they did. They could be talking about bigger issues. Also I found it very annoying how rory was acting. She was acting like she was marriedd to Logan, pretty much implying it is Logan and her's house. Well that is how I perceived it. Also all the domestic work. Totally out of character. Also "we like to go to the gym." It just seems like they need new writers.
I agree. I'm also really sad about the way Luke was acting. What's his deal? He can store April's bike at her house but Lorelai can't even meet her? And he had absolutely no sympathy for her having to cancel all the wedding plans by herself, let alone offer to help. I can't believe he took Logan's present and never owned up to it. I definitely think Lorelai will find out sometime.
I actually really liked last night's, but I love Rory and Logan so that's probably why. Luke pissed me off and I was seriously close to crying at the last conversation at the end. It's like he wasn't trying. His acting seemed off last night too- very forced.
I wonder how this London thing will play out.... will they both go, or are we in for yet another heartbroken Rory? Or will he say eff it and not go...
Also, they are building up Logan as a total nice guy now. I guess since the character Jess can't come back to the show right now they are banking as him being Rory's permanent love interest? Everyone is acting so out of character.
I didn't like how they wasted so much time with them deciding to come in or out of the room, and the back massage thing too.
i thought for sure when she was holding the neclace in bed she was going to call him on it. and when she was standing with logan alone right before they left i thought she was going to say something then also. they made it so obvious. the boxes were exactly the same and they ribbon on the boxes. i had to deal with my daughter for a minute and missed the end of dinner but, didn't rory say how the bracelet and the neclace looked alike as well. come on, lorelai would be so much smarter than that. she knew jess had a girl in the closet for cryin' out loud and there were no signs or hints there!!!!! come on!!!
and luke was being a total jerk the whole time. i actually thought logan was being totaly cool like he was the first season he was on the show when i liked him (didn't like him this season at all.) and luke was being a total ass. it's like if he's not at the diner with april he's a grumpy old goat. and the whole conversation at the end of the episode pissed me off. it was obvious that lorelai really wanted to meet april and be at least invited to the diner while she was there even a blind man could have seen it.
I enjoyed last night's episode. I was laughing all the way through it; however, some of it was a little much like you all already noted. Rory being the perfect little housewife was a little much; and I really hope this whole Luke and April blows over soon and we can move on with the wedding!
