One full brother: (just turned) 22. We're very close.
One half sister: not quite born yet...stepmom is due on March 24! I hope we become close but I don't know how my stepmom feels about me being a part of the family. She was very sweet and kind when I visited my dad last year though.
My brother was 20 when he died back in July 2000. He would have been 26 this June. Now I'm an only.
I have two younger half sisters, but we were never really around each other much, and I only found out about them when I was 12. I think they are maybe 27 and 24 or 25?
I have one brother who means nothing to me. I hate him (but that's a different post!)
I also have two half sisters from my dad. One is actually older than my mom by a few months. They both were married with kids before I was even born. They also live a couple hours away so their more like aunts to me than sisters.
i have a sister, who is 20 years older. a brother who is 19 years older and another sister (who actually passed away when i was 8) who is 17 years older. and then me! i was an "oops!" baby!
i actually have a nephew who is 3 years younger who feels more like a brother than a nephew. in fact, we tell people that we are brother and sister because it is easier to explain!
I have one brother (he's 31) and one sister (she's 32). 7 and 8 years older than I am. Yes, I was a surprise--NOT a mistake as my mom assured me when I had the identity crisis in my adolescence.
People always say, "so you pretty much grew up an only child" but I don't feel that way at all. We were (and still are) very close and I think they kind of brought me into their generation rather than leaving me to myself.
