Two women raped at model home

I  have been very shaken up for the last few days over the news of two women being raped in a model home here in Cincinnati.  This happened at a local Ryan Homes new home model and it occurred in the middle of the day last Saturday.  The latest news just reported that the rapist has been caught but nonetheless, I just keep thinking of how many of us could find ourselves in the same situation.  I have always thought about how model homes are a bit of a safety risk for those who work in them.  On this occassion there were  actually two women working together and the man held a gun to both of their heads and raped both.


 


I just keep thinking that something like this could happen to any of us.

yes, thank god they finally caught the "blue eyed rapist".  he was pawning two rings from the women and the staff recognized him and reported him to the police.


i was in cincinnati last week for work but couldn't believe how he had raped women all over ohio.  that was what was scary to me.

Okay here is something extremely unsettling-as I was reading the newspaper this weekend, it said they had caught this guy and it showed his picture.  I thought, "wow, this guy looks familiar".  I kept reading and it said he had worked as a model home salesperson himself.  All of the sudden, it hit me-I had actually met this man!!!! 


My husband and I had purchased a new home last summer and this man worked at a model in Northern Kentucky that was the same style as the one we ended up purchasing.  I went there looking to get decorating ideas.  It was kind of weird because while I was there I kept thinking I didn't like the situation of my being by myself in the home with this man.  He was nice enough and looked normal but something told me to tell him that my husband was on his way to meet me there (he really wasn't though). 


I ended up talking to this guy for about a half an hour.  He seemed very cocky to be honest and I kind of bickered with him during the conversation.  I never felt in danger in any way, I was just very annoyed with this guy by the time I left.


Now, after hearing all of this I really have the creeps!  Not only is this guy a rapist-he is a SERIAL rapist they think.  His DNA is being tested this week and they have connected him with SEVERAL other rapes in this area.

your story just gave me the chills. That is so freaky. At least though you suspected that something wasn't right about him and you were on guard.
