"Bel Canto" about a birthday party held in an unnamed South American country where the guests are kidnapped and held hostage in a bungled attempt to overthrow the govt (the president was supposed to be there). It's not action, though, it's more like "Life is Beautiful" and it's so good, at least so far. And yes, I'm in law school and should not be taking the time to read but dammit my soul feels like it's shrinking by the day. I need to keep some air in that balloon somehow...
