How much do you make a year (take home) not including S.O. income?

I hope i'm not commiting a major faux pas by asking, but i figure it's anonymous right?

Ha!  I'm in the military so my pay isn't all that great (although I guess benefits make up for it) but DH does ok.  I have a year left, I can't wait to get out!

Actually, I am not embarassed by what I make because even though it's not much, I am proudly making my way up from my first "entry level" job.  I  started out of college at $25,000, then I got my 2nd job at $27,950 and my new job that I start on Feb. 6th is $30,000.  I have only been out of school for 3 years so I feel that is a pretty good climb in that time and plan to keep on climbin' !!

And another here!  Why is it less embarassing to admit that you make $0 than like $20,000?  Anyway...hi to all my fellow professional internet surfers!

Am I the only one that finds it terribly funny that at the moment, nearly one quarter of people who have responded to this poll, on a shopping website, make less than $10k a year?

ETA:  I swear I can spell 'nearly' ...

I'm at my first, technical, full-time job, so I'm right at entry level salary; This mean's I make $29,099 a year right now.  I actually probably make more, since I put in overtime, but that's my base

Does your DH have a single brother?  (J/K I'm happily married.)  I've seen those fabulous shoes you purchase, you are one lucky girl!

I make $40K a year plus benefits; a big plus especially if you have a family.  I'm pretty proud of what I make at 23 considering I only took one semester of college.  I actually saw a girl working at Toys R Us a few weeks ago that hung out in my crowd in HS that was too stuck up to talk to me back then; she couldn't even look at me.

I don't make much since I only work part-time.  But at least I get to spend quite a bit of it on shopping, otherwise I wouldn't work!

I am a SAHM of 2.   No extra income on my part.  I don't bring any in, but I'm sure good at making sure it's spent!

I honestly don't know. I make slightly over minimum wage and I take home $120-130 per paycheck, plus tips (I usually make another $150). Between the days I request off and the extra hours I work, it's hard to say; and tips are not steady (like in summer and at Christmas, we get crazy tips, but right now not so much). We didn't claim tips until August of this year, so I have no idea how much money I took home last year. I probably should have kept track, no?

All I know is that I'm pretty lucky because my income is almost entirely disposable. That, and that I need to start saving...

I have a very lucrative job at my school's pool making $7 an hour for two hours a week.

I also work basically 22 hour days for 6 days a week in the summer as a camp counselor and make a whopping $1500 for 3 months. Jealous?

right now I make like $8000 a year working part time and being a student, but starting in September I'll be making $52,000 at an accounting firm. Not too shabby for entrylevel right out of college! I am going to be living in the bay area though, so take that salary with a grain of salt since cost of living will be so damn expensive!!!

SAHM w/ zero earning potential.  Now, if someone decides to start paying me for all the crap I do around here, including mileage for my truck, then maybe I'll be pulling in some serious cake.  Until then, hubby gets all the cred for being the money maker and doing all the "work."  bah
