Apparently I am a traitor to my generation, because I had never seen this show before I rented it this week. I am addicted! Just finished Season 1. I know several of you are fans, so...
1. Did we all dress that badly in the late 90s? At first I thought being a terrible dresser was supposed to be one of Felicity's quirks. But no one dresses well on that show. Someone please promise she'll get out of the oversized-button-down phase soon.
2.What was in Meghan's box? Did they ever say?
3. Does Elena go back to dating the prof? (And seriously, they couldn't find a hotter professor than that guy? He looks like Dennis Miller)
4. Ben or Noel? Ben or Noel? I am going nuts trying to figure out whom she picked.
Any tidbits I should look out for in upcoming seasons? I am such a nerd.

I Felicity! That's my all time favorite show!! Keep watching.
1. Yes, she does eventually start dressing way better!
2. There is a whole episode around what's in Meghan's box actually - it's called "Help for the Lovelorn" did you see that one yet? I don't want to spoil it.
3. Where are you at w/Elena and the Professor? I don't want to spoil that either
4. You have to watch all 4 seasons to know who Felicity ultimately picks - ben or noel. That's one no one should spoil for you, because it's the very premise for the show. You won't be disappointed though - I promise! BTW - who are you rooting for?!
The only thing I can tell you is to keep watching - the show gets better and better. Check in and tell us what you think
hallybird - i have never seen it either. so it's on the highly recommended list? i always like to have shows that i can watch during the day on my off days while my husband is working during "my time".

You usually like the same shows I like, so I'm telling you, you will love it!
I remember watching Felicity my senior year of high school when it first came out, but once I got to college I stopped watching it. Now you guys have me wanting to check it out again!!!
Okay, seriously. One of my favorite shows on telelvision. Ever. Felicity rocks. And sadly, her dressing never gets that much better but it's still a style my BFF and I mimic occasionally. We'll be at a store and say "oh, that's totally a Felicity shirt" or "I wish I had a Felicity shirt to wear tonight - it'd be perfect." Stuff like that. But she's not terribly stylish.
I love that show!
How much do you want to know the answers to your questions?
i was a semi-regular felicity watcher and i guess i missed the episode where they explained what was in meghan's box. i assumed that it was never answered and that question has plagued me for the past 5+ years. can someone please pm with the info. thanks!

I watched every episode and if I'm not mistaken, they never actually said what was in Meghan's box. I think the ep. shopchicago33 is referring to is the Twilight Zone-esque one, right? In that ep, all the characters are actually in the box. But I don't think the question was ever specifically answered.

Hmm..I thought it was answered. Meghan actually had little dolls she made of Felicity, Ben, Noel, Elena, and Julie in her box - remember? I thought we were to assume that's what she kept in there. At the end of that episode, it was back to present day.
bluebirde -- at first i thought it was never answered too, until i saw shopchicago's post.
based on that i'm wondering if the dolls are related to meghan's religious persuasion, and if so how. did she ever indicate that she had a preference in the noel versus ben debate?
OK, so I guess I didn't really want the answers to 3 and 4, just the first two. Thank God she gets out of those awful outfits. I am glad she started using some hair product at the end of Season 1. Felicity reminds me a LOT of one of my college roommates (who was, incidentally, obsessed with the show), including the incredible hair. So. Jealous.
Anyhow, I am starting season 2 today. Re: Meghan's box -- I thought they said what was in it sometime in the episode where Meghan's parents visit, and Meghan tells them it's Felicity's box. But my dogs were being loud when I watched it, and I meant to go back and re-watch it, but I forgot and sent it back.
So, without giving me any spoilers -- which season is the best?

Halleybird, I'm so glad you found this show! It's really great. I love the writing it's so smart and funny.
I think your favorite season will depend on who you want Felicity to end up with (Ben or Noel). I think I'm in the minority because I'm a Noel fan. I've been with too many Bens to really like that type again. Plus , Noel is just so sweet to her (most of the time, there are a few episodes where he's a real jerk, but I don't want to spoil it for you).
I think one of the funniest episodes ever is when they try to have sex for the first time and set the Xmas tree on fire! Plus, the Todd Mulcahy episodes in the first season are great, too!

I honestly don't think I could pick a favorite season, but like Nylabelle, it's a toss up btwn 1 and 4. I liked 1 because it was hysterical, and 4 because it was so emotional and I love the way everything ended up.
