Hey Karina! I live on Oahu so if you have any questions, let me know! I'll be happy to answer them. The weather is really nice in Oct. Mostly in the lower-mid 80's in the day and upper 70's at night. The great thing if you choose to come here and Maui for your honeymoon is that you can get two totally different experiences in one. Honolulu and Waikiki are completely city, while Maui is a little more laid back. If you want really laid back I would go to Kauai or the Big Island. You can fly interisland for about 100 bucks pp for roundtrip I believe, so you can island hop. =)

after much deliberation, we have decided to go to PR and Barbados for the honeymoon. The main reason we are going, is because he has family in Barbados (back in the day, many Irish were servants in Barbados and also fled the potato famine.). His grandparents live half of the year in Barbados, and half the year here in New Jersey.

ohh, karina...if you're gonna be spending time in PR you definitely should go here: http://www.biobay.com/ ! my bf is going to PR for a week with his soils class and they are spending thier first night around here and it looks fantastic. you have got to check out the pics!
