okay, i know that some people have expressed thier hatred of DHL already but im gonna add mine cause i just got off the phone with them. in mid december i ordered a couple of calendars, one for my sister for christmas and one for me. the one for my sister was go be delivered before christmas by fed ex, cool, it came no problem. the one for me was scheduled to be delivered in mid january, the 12th to be exact. whatever, i don't understand why it was to take almost a full four weeks to deliver a calender but whatever, not the issue. so, obviously the 12th has come and gone. i go onto amazon to track my package and find that it's been shipped by something called "airborne home". uh, what's that? i click the button and find out it's dhl, okay, fine, sure. and then i click the button to track the packages exact route to find when it's supposed to come and find out its already come and gone???? wtf! it says they tried to deliver it on the 4th but i wasn't home. and nothing after that! no second try no nothing. hello, i didn't get any notice whatsoever! okay, so im sorta pissed off, but i figure i can call and they can attempt it again, and i will enunciate that i just want it dropped off and doesn't need to be signed for.

okay, i call dhl today and find out the real reason i never got my calender. dhl (and i have this straight from a supervisor at dhl's cs) doesn't not deliver packages themselves most of the time. dhl delivers stuff to the post office who then is supposed to deliver it to the house. what the freaking good lord is that crap? a delivery service that can't bring a stinking calendar to my house? so fine, after trisha hangs up on me and i call her back (!) and basically yell her to pieces about this shoddy business. i am not going to the post office, it's in a really really really scary section of town. even my bf who isn't afraid of anything and is 6'2" and 250 or so doesn't go to the post office. so, i try calling the post office but their phone line is busy! again, wtf? and it's still busy fifteen minutes later. well, that's it. i don't want no stinking calendar anymore. i call amazon and i tell them i don't want the calander, it's up to them to find it and take it back. the poor indian man was a little shocked at my anger, but im sorry you suck butt.

oh, and yeah, the post office recieves some of the wrath too because my postwoman is horrible. she just randomly gives the houses the wrong mail. and it's not even like it's the house next door she messes up on, it's from way down the street, or three streets over. and they are all rubber banded in nice packages for her. she just has to pick out the right rubberbaned package, why oh why are you shoving three or four rubberbanded packages in my mail slot? why oh why can't you do your job, post woman? is it that hard?

so, to sum up a really pissed off roast, dhl and the post office suck. i will not blame amazon for this one because it was shipped from some random calander company through amazon. okay, i feel better now after spewing all this hatred into the computer. please, beware of dhl, try try try not to use them whatever you do. not only will you not get your packages but trisha will hang up on you.
