so i ordered 2 cute dresses about a week ago. i just got the package...
there is only 1 dress. bah.
i checked the order history and it says item cancelled. why no advance warning? i have ordered from anthro a few times before, but i'm not a frequent shopper. is this normal?
i called CS and they said they didn't have my size anymore. understandable, but again, why no warning?
what if i needed that darn dress?

That does sound really annoying! I've had them cancel part of my order twice but they did send me a cancellation notification. I first received a shipping confirmation for one of the items I ordered and then the cancellation notification for another item a couple of days after that.
Yeah, that is one of the annoying things about ordering from the Anthro website. If they have low stock on something they'll let you put the order thru, but they may cancel it. Often when I order from them they put a little "Low stock, may cancel" on my account info page.
