Anyone watch last night?


I was kind of shocked at what happened in the first 10 minutes... this show is really amazing though. I forgot how much I missed it.


One thing though, why does Chloe always look like she is in pain? Anyone else think this or is it me?

This is my first time watching the show regularly (my husband and I watched all the seasons on DVD in the past few months). It is driving me nuts not being able to just pop in the next DVD!

OMG! I can't believe Palmer & Michelle are dead. I Palmer and I don't want him to be gone.


Chloe always does look like she's in pain. But I adore her; I think it's part of her charm. She may be my favorite TV character of all time.

i couldn't believe last night! i am super excited and ready for tonight's eps.

chloe is probably my favorite character. (and i LOVE the chloe/edgar dynamic on the show!)

so psyched! my boyfriend and I went to a 24 party at his friend's house... everyone placed over/under bets on how long it would take Chloe to disobey authority, how many bad guys Jack would kill, etc etc. Can't wait for the second half! And I can't believe Palmer is dead, either, I loved him.

god i love this show...and i'm like you halleybird, i've only watched the previous seasons on dvd (over the last year and a half, i think), so i'm not sure i can wait each week for only an hour of 24!


i'm so sad that the killed palmer off, he was my favorite character from the beginning.  my second favorite character is tony, and i can't imagine that he'll be on a lot this season (although knowing this show, he'll probably emerge from brain surgery in the fifth hour and immediately take over control of ctu!). 


i think i'm going to like sean astin's character - he's like the male version of chloe with an ego. 


this looks to be a good season!

Four back-to-back episodes were complete heaven!  I missed it sooooo much!


Chloe rocks, I love Martha Logan and hate her snivily husband the prez.  I hope Tony lives   How 'bout that new hottie Chloe hooked up with?!?!


At first, I thought I would be annoyed by the Sean Astin character, but I loved that they made him the hero by figuring out the flank position message.


I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL NEXT WEEK!!

about the hobbit (aka sean astin, who i totally flaked on...i asked my bf "what's with the cory? is it hart or haim?" after a strange look from the bf i figured it out, it's the hobbit!)...is he bad or good? i can't quite get a read on him. we totally know the nasty presidents aide guy is bad, but is the hobbit? i thought he was until he found that code phrase, but changed my mind again with that butt kissing statement at the end. anybody who kisses that much butt has got to be bad.  and yes, chloe rocks, i love that this role is filled by a woman genius. and uh, martha logan is a designing woman right? i really love her and this story line. im really excited that this season seems to be more character based rather than story based, does that make sense? like we're getting a hold on people's characters and personalities more.

I'm like halleybird and LA Gal. The boy loves 24 and bought all the seasons on DVD. We finished Season 1 this weekend and I watched all 4 eps of this season so far. So good!


I freakin' love Jean Smart! She's such an undervalued and amazing actress. I really like her in this part, too. I hope someone else finds her passed out on the floor and believes she was chloroformed so they don't say she's delusional again. (I hate frustrating storylines like that!)


Sooo... Jack's pissed off this season, huh? Sounds good to me. Don't you know that little 15 year-old son character was pissing himself with guns pointed at his head? (Yes I know I mix up real life and television characters. It makes it more interesting.)


I'm very sad Palmer's dead. I love him. At least I have Allstate commercials to keep me going.

What did I miss- I thought last night (monday) was the 2 hour premiere for this season - is that right?

Sunday night was actually the 2-hour premiere. Too bad we don't live in the same city, I'd loan you the tape! But I suppose if you watched Monday and kept up, you aren't missing anything, right?

Last night was great! I love Sean Astin. Although, one of these days, I'd like to have a season without the troubled-teen-who-will-live-even-though-they're-in-impossible-circumstances storyline in the first few episodes


Does anyone ever wonder about the characters who just fall off the face of the earth in this show? Like Kate? I totally thought Kate was being set up to be Jack's gf in season 2 and then she got one scene in season 3 & disappeared. And what happened to Behrooz? And that little girl Kim babysat in Season 2? And now that the whole world knows Jack is alive again, is someone gonna call poor Kim?


I think something's fishy with Chloe's boyfriend. Of course, I think Chloe and Jack should hook up anyway.

OMG! I do the same thing too! (Duh, I was going to reply to whoever said they shout David Palmer everytime the Allstate commercial is on)


Anyway about the mole person in CTU that Jack alluded to with Chloe, at first I was thinking it was the guy that took over CTU (with the white hair) but now I am leaning to Sean Astin.


Honestly, when he walked on the screen last night I shouted Sam-Wise, so talk about being a dork!
