Oooh, not good.  I didn't like it at all.  Seemed too much like it was trying to be SATC.  I just didn't think it was original at all.

I got the SATC vibe too. And I thought that Heather Graham's acting was bad. Especially when Stan asked her to lunch and she's like, "let me just grab my shag. I mean bag." It was bad.

The show is based on a book by the same title. I read the book a little over a year ago, before I knew anything about the TV show.

I haven't watched the show yet (I taped it), but I'm interested to see how it compares to the book.

It was cheesy but cute, so I'll give it a chance.  If you remember, the very first episode of SATC was extrememly cheesy w/bad acting, so maybe it has potential.

SHe actually did a cameo on SATC - do you remember that? It was the face girl episode - you know, the girl that dating Aiden right after her? I just thought about that...

The "face girl" was Heather Graham's friend in the show last night too!  I was like "Hmm...she looks familiar" and then realized it was the face girl!  Too funny.

I read that too...I also heard on the pilot Heather Graham's character says something about the "flutter flutter" feeling a guy gives you when you like him, and it reminded me of that SATC episode where Carrie talks about needing that feeling in a relationship, but she called it the "zsa zsa zu." It seems too similar to not be a coincidence.

I have never been a big fan of Heather Graham, but I agree with Fashion Princess the first SATC was cheesy, so maybe this will get better also. It has potential.

haha, too cute!  i have a friend that would have the same reaction, its cute because i tend to err on the critical side.

I don't think Heather Graham is able to carry a leading role. I think she's a pretty bad actress.
