So I ordered a blouse online which was backordered.  Well it finally arrived and it is missing this scarf attachment thing that goes around the blouse.  So I call explaining what happened.. and they said i would have to return the item, which i understand, and then once they recieve the returned item they will ship out the new, correct item.  So it will take 4 buisness days for my wrong item to reach them, and then anotehr 7-10 days for me to recieve my new item.  I am very mad that they can not expedite this process, since it was their mistake!!!

Oh I am so glad you posted this!  I have been meaning to post my experience with them last week. 


I ordered some flannel pjs from them before christmas and I never got them. Not sure whose fault it was theirs, ups, my apt complex.  So anyways I email them explaining the situation and I get the first email telling me that ups said it was delivered.  I replied I knew that already but my apt complex never had possession of the package so I never got it.  Next email was ok we can either resend it or refund you.  I said ok and ask for them to resend it but to my parents house in louisiana because there has been some ups issues here.  so then i get a reply back from the same person saying ok they will ship it but they are on backorder until feb 28th is that ok.  I reply back yes please send them.  So then I get another email after that from someone completely different saying they are canceling my order and refunding my money because the pjs are sold out!!  I've been on the website since and they are still there and in my size still.    Makes me mad!!!  I'm just taking the refund and buying pjs from somewhere else.

This stinks.  Nordstrom did the same thing to me once- sent me the wrong pumas and then told me it was going to take like a gazillion days before I got the correct ones and they acted like they were doing me a favor when they offered to pay for the return shipping on the wrong item they sent by mistake.  At Zappos, they once sent me a bag and the clasp broke after I used it once.  When I called to let them know, they processed a new order (and didn't charge me again) immediately and just told me to pop the broken one in the mail the next business day. I had my new bag two days later and no extra charges on my card. So, it is possible to do such a thing and get it there quickly.

Ok i am fuming mad right now... So as i posted they forgot to sew on the scarf part for a top i ordered, so i sent it back... told them to overnight to a different address... They said ok fine, wrote it again on the return slip i sent the blouse back with.  I call today to find out why i havent recieved it 2 weeks later... well here it was backordered again, so i had to wait for that, and then they just shipped it out today.. but they shipped it regular post NOT overnight, and they shipped it to my home address, instead of my college address I wrote on teh return sheet!  And so the SA told me that it will arrive in 7-10 business days to the home address... and there is NOTHING she can do about it.... THis is the worst service i have ever recieved... is there really nothing they can do... I mean they have made mistake after mistake... Then i said to speak to a supervisor, she said they were busy at the moment, i said so they are too busy to speak with me, and she said yes... but they can call back, i said can they call back tonight, no they are busy the whole night...


What more can i do?  Is it just me or am i having bad luck with customer service!!!

Ok- so I ordered online from the sale. I made sure to order things ONLY if they weren't backordered. I receive my shipping confirmation, there is a sweater backordered! So as if that wasn't stupid enough. I finally receive the package in the mail last thursday, only to find they shipped it in two parts. I only received 1 pair of underwear in the package. So I am waiting...waiting...waiting. No 2nd package.

I called today. I told her I haven't received the other part of my package. She bitchily told me that there is nothing she can do, because I have to wait 1 business day after the 7-10 day shipping policy. So I told her that I already received the 1st package, shouldn't the other one be like at least 1 day behind. Once again, there is nothing I can do... in her nasally voice. On top of that, my shipping confirmation does not have a USPS tracking number. So how would I know!

Seriously, my shipping confirmation does not even say 7-10 days, so I asked her "do you blame me for calling" because she was being really nasty. So she finally backed down and tried to be nice. But dear god, I was just asking where my freaking package is. Its been 10 days!

Sorry for the rant, and it probably doesn't make sense, but I am really not order from them anymore, this was ridiculous.

Last year, I tried to order a pair of sneakers from them. They came in orange/white, light blue/green, and dark purple/forest green. The color descriptions were "natural, moonglow, and eggplant". I ordered the natural ones, and received the purple ones! So I sent them back requesting the natural ones, and they sent me purple again. After 15 minutes on the phone, they told me the purple WERE the "natural" ones and the orange were "moonglow". So apparently the light blue is eggplant? It was seriously ridiculous b/c there was NO indication on the website of which color matched which description, and by the time I got them, they were on sale. It wasn't all bad at least b/c they gave me the new sale price and agreed to pay for my shipping. It was really dumb though. Since when is "moonglow" orange and light blue "eggplant"??
