-wide legged, cropped pants - make me look shorter! However, cropped pants with a slim leg sometimes work on me.
-I'm with all you girls who said red lipstick! I've tried a few, even sheer ones, and they all look so weird on me. Some girls look so glamourous w/ it, I am jealous!
-Long skirts - if the hem is not within 3" of my knee, I look funny
gauchos and bermuda shorts: make my short legs look even shorter!
skinny jeans tucked into boots: I so wish I could pull this off! I'm small and thin, but I have hips and a butt so skinny jeans tucked into boots makes me look like my lower body is shaped like this: \/
strapless anything: my boobs are small so I always feel like I can't hold the top up!

You made me laugh because I have the same issue, I cant even find a strapless bra in my size I have to wear the ones that used doublesided tape and that can be a pain in the butt. Okay i feel better now- thanks
the messy ponytail looks pretty dumb on me. those long t-shirts that are banded at the waist and they are supposed to scrunch up around your body.
i love blood red lipstick but i look like a hooker in it. i just can't seem to pull it off. the closest i can get is clinique's almost lipstick in black honey. and the only reason is because it isn't really red it is more a sheer berry.
i have allways wanted to look good with this kind of haircut, but everytime i try, i can't quite get it to work.
also the messy, just woke up sex hair look. i can't pull that off either.
I wish I could wear full skirts. I have found 1 that I really like. The other ones swallow me and are too long!
Boots & Gauchos. My legs are too stumpy. Which leads me to..
Flats. I tried and I love them, but my shortness does not.
Off the shoulder tops. I think it accentuates the roundness of my face
Shrugs that are tight at the top- bring attention to the lower part of my stomach.
On a more postive light- Bootcut jeans work wonders on my stumpy legs and so does getting things tailored. I definately have a more positive self image when I get things that are tailored to me.
any cropped tops (thank goodness these went out many years ago--i hope they never come back).
strappy/bare tops, slip dresses, anything with sewn in bra cup style bodices (i.e. every single dress j.crew has ever made)
oh, also--shirts/blouses that button up the front. i can buy a size 22 (i wear about an 8) and it won't button across the front--i have given up trying. and anything with a deep v-neck--too much cleveland.
